| Abstract | ||
The purpose of this research is to investigate the efficacy of cross-cultural leadership development programmes in global organisations. As businesses spread their activities across international borders, there is an ever-increasing need for leaders who are able to operate effectively in a variety of cultural settings. Programmes designed to create cross-cultural leadership attempt to provide participants with the knowledge and abilities required to successfully lead across a variety of cultural contexts. This study investigates the planning, execution, and results of similar programmes, with the goal of better comprehending the usefulness of such programmes in fostering the development of global leaders. The research makes use of a combination of qualitative interviews with programme participants and quantitative analysis of leadership performance measurements. This methodology is known as a mixed-methods approach. The results provide a significant contribution to the current body of research on leadership development and give insights into the tactics and practises that increase the efficacy of cross-cultural leadership development programmes. |
