Abstract

The contribution of Jim Corbett towards ecology is, indeed, remarkable. He is a great eco-critic. He is conscious to restore the ecology. He scrutinizes the relation between man and nature in his novels. His works are full of eco-critical elements. He evaluates the eco-critical and traditional elements of Indian forest life. Since childhood he is attached with the bounty of natured. He captures the harmonious union of man with nature in his novels. The philosophy of co-existence of man with nature takes an important place in his works. Jim observes the topography of Indian forest at the foothills of Himalaya, near Naini Tal and Kaladhungi that shows his interest in nature and natural things.
