Machine translation has emerged as a new and essential study subject in the realm of machine translation. The primary goal of transliteration is to retain the phonetic structure of words. Proper transliteration of name entities has a substantial impact on machine translation quality. In this study, we use a rule-based method to machine transliteration for the English-Punjabi language combination. The technique of extracting or separating the syllable from the words is known as syllabification. We are computing the probability for name entities (proper names and location) in this case. Separate probabilities are generated utilizing relative frequency using a statistical machine translation for those words that do not fall within the category of name entities. |
