| Abstract | ||
Microfinance, the provision of financial services to the underserved poor, has emerged as a powerful tool for economic empowerment and rural development. By providing small loans and other financial services, microfinance institutions enable individuals and small businesses to engage in productive activities, improve their livelihoods, and contribute to local economies. This paper explores the role of microfinance in fostering financial inclusion, empowering women, and driving rural development. It highlights the transformative impact of microfinance initiatives and underscores the importance of integrating the needs of the rural poor into broader economic development policies and strategies. |
