An attempt is made in this paper to know Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) performance in India in terms of Merger and Acquisition (M&A), Technology transfer and Research & Development (R&D). Beginning of the sections is done with FDI policy in India. Initially, India has many restrictive policies but it is favorable after liberalization period to attract FDI in India. Another section of the Paper discussed performance of M&A in terms of number, volume, country and industry wise, Technology Transfer with suggested government policy and FDI inflow in R&D from the year 2000-2011(post liberalization period). At the end of the paper,it has been concluded that growth of FDI Inflows is quite positive in above mentioned area. |
