The advancement of industrial organisation has led to a rise in the intricacy of managerial functions across diverse domains, thereby posing challenges in the efficient utilisation of scarce resources. The field of Operations Research endeavours to furnish methodologies for a dispassionate approach to predicaments related to decision-making. The present study emphasises the significance of sequencing as a means of enhancing the utilisation of existing facilities and delves into the distinction between sequencing and scheduling.
