| Abstract | ||
Our Indian constitution gives assurance of equality apart from community, caste, gender, and religion discrimination to all citizens. According to census report 2011 in India 48.46% are women and 51.54% are man in total population. So we can say in national growth and development women’s role is more important as a human resource. In India, where population maintain equal ratio of males and females the emergence of women empowerment have great relevance and importance otherwise it will be amounting to neglecting 50 per cent of the human resources of the country. If women are educated they get opportunity for economic work. The gain of Economic opportunity and independence to women is important towards economic empowerment of women. This paper entitled Remedial measures for women empowerment through NGOs is an effort to analyze the socio-economic empowerment of women and to examine the role played by NGOs in ensuring remedial measures for women empowerment. |
